Primary Job Duties

  • Design, develop and provide computer programs to support new products and manufacturing processes for the archery and general sporting goods markets
  • Lead design, analysis, prototype development, testing activities on assigned projects
  • Create Solidworks models and drawings
  • Provide work direction to Technicians and Interns for testing and evaluation
  • Attend various industry and consumer trade shows to maintain close interaction with the customer
  • Collaborate with Manufacturing and Production to implement smooth launch of new products
  • Support Manufacturing on existing production processes and equipment to reduce scrap and improve yield
  • Collaborate with Sourcing to identify and qualify new suppliers, as well as resolve existing production and quality issues
  • Support company Lean initiatives

  • Engineering degree (BS required, MS desired)
  • 3-5 years progressive experience in Mechanical or Manufacturing Engineering preferably in high volume consumer products
  • 1-3 years programming experience(PLC's, C++ or visual basic)
  • Familiarity with general manufacturing processes including metal working, machining, metal finish, heat treating, plastic injection molding, die casting
  • High level of proficiency with Solidworks 3D modeling
  • Familiarity with ISO 9001 Quality System
