We are currently looking for a highly motivated Swing Shift Supervisor at our Salt Lake City Manufacturing Facility.  Easton offers a competitive wage, excellent benefits package as well as an environment that fosters teamwork and continuous improvement. 

 

Job Summary

Swing Shift Production Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the employees working in the carbon fiber arrow production area and supervises the daily operations. In addition, solves any problems or questions regarding the flow of material and the quality of the products going through the facility.

 

Core Responsibilities: 

  • Enter payroll and prepare weekly time cards.
  • Provide leadership and motivate employees to run at the most optimum performance.
  • Handle employees' issues and perform problem-coaching sessions.
  • Train new employees and coach for continuous improvement.
  • Manage temporary staffing.
  • Follow works orders and contribute to meeting daily production schedule and solving quality problems.
  • Transfer material as needed and buy-off material.
  • Troubleshoot machinery and handle maintenance issues.
  • Handle rushes and special orders.

 

Job Requirements:

  • Basic PC skills including Word and Excel
  • Basic SPC knowledge
  • Ability to read and interpret drawing and blueprints
  • Basic math skills
  • Technical and mechanical aptitude
  • Knowledge of EPA expectations and rules, and mindset regarding quality and safety
  • Proven ability to motivate and engage employees
  • Knowledge of production and lean manufacturing principals 
  • Must be able to walk and stand for long hours as well as lift up to 50 lbs

 

Experience:

Production experience 2-5 years

Leadership experience 2-5 years
